Arrival in Kochi

On your arrival at Cochin International Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. The rest of the day, if any, is at leisure to settle in, and recuperate from your international journey. Overnight stay in Kochi.

Kochi to Alleppey

After breakfast depart by road to the enchanting Alleppey, also known as the ‘Venice of the east’. You will be taken to the jetty point where you will be asked to board your own houseboat. Here starts the loveliest journey. Sit back and enjoy the scenery of Vembanad Lake, the backwaters and watch the village life as you move along the waterways. You will learn so much about the fishermen, their ways of living, get to understand how tadi (local liquor) is made, you will also visit the local communities. The boatman and his assistant double up as chefs and you will be served a delicious lunch and dinner on the houseboat. Overnight stay on board the houseboat.

Note: You also have an option to take a houseboat tour that starts by 12 pm and gets over at 4 pm, where you can stay the night in a hotel. 

Alleppey to Varkala

After breakfast, continue your journey to the beautiful Cliffside beach, Varkala Beach. Spend the day at leisure - walk along the cliffs, sunbathe on the golden sand, get an Ayurvedic massage, attend Yoga classes, enjoy fresh smoothies and delicious food from the array of cafes and restaurants. Later, there is the option of taking a boat ride through the Varkala Tunnel – a historic structure. Overnight stay in Varkala.

Varkala to Kovalam

After breakfast drive to Kovalam. Spend the day at leisure and explore Kovalam Beach. Soak up the sun and enjoy water sports. You can also visit the Ayurveda massage parlours and yoga centres. Along with the scenic beauty there are lots of restaurants that serve delicious seafood, caught fresh from the sea in Kovalam. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Again the day is free for holiday enjoyment on the beach where you can relax in your own way. Overnight stay in Kovalam.

Departure from Kovalam

Today your trip comes to an end. We arrange your transfer to Trivandrum Airport or Cochin Airport (subject to availability of flights to your home country) to board the flight for home country.
