Day 1

Arrival in Ahmedabad

On your arrival at Ahmedabad Airport you will be welcomed by your tour escort. You can find him easily as he will be there at the arrival lounge holding a placard of your name. After meet & greet transfer to your pre booked hotel. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.

Ahmedabad

After breakfast begin your sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad. Visit Gandhi Ashram, Hutheesing Jain Temple and the 15th century Jama Mosque. Post lunch, visit Calico Museum of Textiles. Later return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Ahmedabad to Patan to Dasada

After breakfast drive to your next destination Dasada or Little Rann of Kutch. En-route stop to visit Patan and see the famous Rani ki Vav Stepwell. Later at Modhera village visit the popular Sun Temple, a Hindu temple from the Chaulukya era. Then continue your drive to Dasada (Little Rann of Kutch). Overnight stay in Dasada.

Dasada to Mandvi

Rise early and get ready for your jungle safari at Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary. It homes many endangered animals such as Indian Wild Ass (Khur), Onager (Equus hemionus) and many others, you will also get a chance to see Desert Fox, Blue Bull, Blackbuck, Wolf and Jackal. Post wildlife safari return to your hotel for breakfast. Later depart by road to the coastal town Mandvi. Spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Mandvi.

Mandvi

After breakfast begin your tour of Mandvi with the main monument Vijay Vilas Palace. Then visit Shyamji Krishna Varma Memorial – a huge 52 acre complex. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the beautiful Mandvi beach and indulge in the local cuisine. Overnight stay in Mandvi.

Mandvi to Bhuj

After breakfast depart by road to Bhuj. Begin your sightseeing tour of Bhuj with the Aina Mahal Museum, the famous Prag Mahal and Kutch Museum (oldest museum of Gujarat). Later visit Bhartiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum, Vande Mataram Memorial and Hiralaxmi Memorial Craft Park in Bhujodi village. Overnight stay at Bhuj.

Bhuj to Rann of Kutch

After breakfast continue by road to Hodka - perched on the edge of the Rann of Kutch, in the heart of the Banni grassland. On arrival check-in to your tented accommodation. After lunch spend time discovering the best of the Rann Utsav (festival) – architecture, arts, music, dance, textiles and cuisine. In the evening explore White Rann – the world's largest salt desert. Spend the evening gazing at the gorgeous full moonlight in this extraordinary desert. Return back to the tents to enjoy some spectacular cultural programs followed by dinner. Overnight stay at the camp.

Rann of Kutch

Begin your morning with meditation and greet the sun as it rises. Afterwards, enjoy breakfast and then spend the rest of the day exploring the colours of this beautiful place. Step out to have a look at the ethnic handicrafts designed by the local artisans. You can also take a short trip to the Indo - Pak Border. In the evening, grab the opportunity to dance with the local folk dancers. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the camp.

Rann of Kutch to Wankaner

Begin the day with a leisurely breakfast and then drive to Wankaner, approximately five hours. On arrival, explore the remarkable Ranjit Vilas Palace – a finesse of architectural designs. Later visit the beautiful Wankaner Palace. Overnight stay in Wankaner.

Wankaner to Gondal

After breakfast proceed to Gondal. On arrival, visit the Riverside Palace – a European style mansion. In the afternoon pay a visit to the 1748 AD Naulakha Palace, housing a collection of antiques and princely relics of the Jadeja Rajput rulers and also stop to see the Vintage and Classic Car Museum. Overnight stay at Gondal.

Gondal to Junagadh to Gir

Early breakfast and leave for Gir via the historic city of Junagadh, approximately three hour drive. On arrival at Junagadh visit the iconic Uperkot Fort. After lunch drive to another exciting destination Gir National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary, also famously known as Sasan Gir. On arrival check-in to your hotel and get ready for the evening jungle jeep safari. This national park was set up in 1965 with the aim to protect Asiatic lions. After safari enjoy your evening at the resort. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Sasan Gir

Get ready to board the morning jeep safari vehicle. After finishing AM safari return to the resort for breakfast and spend your day at leisure. Evening jeep safari optional. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Gir to Somnath to Gir

After breakfast proceed to Somnath to visit the magnificent Somnath Temple. It is an important Hindu pilgrimage spot. The confluence of three rivers to the east of the town adds to its importance. Return to Gir by the evening. Overnight stay at the wildlife resort.

Gir to Palitana to Bhavnagar

After breakfast drive to Bhavnagar. En-route visit Palitana, a small town that is a major pilgrimage centre for Jains. Visit Shri Vishal Jain Museum situated at Shantrujaya Hills and the famous Handicraft Market of Palitana town. Later continue your journey to Bhavnagar. Overnight stay in Bhavnagar.

Bhavnagar to Lothal to Ahmedabad

Early breakfast and proceed to Lothal. Lothal means "Mound of the Dead", and was one of the southernmost cities of the ancient Indus Valley Civilization. Spend some time exploring the remains and the Museum. After Lothal sightseeing, transfer to Ahmedabad airport for your homebound journey.
